We've had a great time doing all of the festive fall fun, including football games, several trips to the "small" pumpkin patch (Polk's) to pick out pumpkins and fruit, and pumpkin spice lattes. (okay, mama has enjoyed her nonfat pumpkin spice latte as a treat!)
This past weekend we celebrated fall with our annual Conkling Cousin trip to the "big" pumpkin patch - the Harvest Farm Pumpkin Patch in Turon. This has become a tradition with Jack's family and it's a HUGE hit with all of the kiddos! Due to busy schedules we weren't able to make it until the farm's last weekend. It was brrr brrr cold and crisp on Saturday morning. On the plus side, there weren't many out and about so the kids had their pick of activities with no waiting!
Mackie thoroughly enjoyed the slide and swinging on her horse (which she named Cauliflower).
We also spent the weekend raking and playing in the leaves. What else do you do when the power goes out? Mackie had a blast and we let her pick out her own outfit. (as you'll see!) Brax-man even enjoyed his time in the leaves. What is it about fleece and winter hats that make babies even cuter?! Love my sweeties!
