Brax-man turned the big ONE last Saturday (10.13.12). We celebrated on his actual birthday with a small family party, baseball-style. (see blog post below - I had a fun time keeping up with the baseball theme, complete with a concession stand for our lunch!)
Our little big-man had quite the birthday, filled with plenty of memories (including a purple cast). Below are some pics from Braxton's special day!
Brax and Papa "Scaliwag" - the gimps. Brax in his cast and Papa in his knee bandages after having surgery the day before. (he was such a trooper to come as a gimp!)
Mackie and Great Papa Preston - love this pic of my sweetie and my grandpa!
And the cake! Daddy thought it would be fun to create "eye black" with the frosting - until he realized he was in charge of clean-up. ;)
More giggles with the cake. B-man didn't even touch the cake, just swiped the frosting and that was plenty of sugar for him to enjoy!
The joys of opening presents with big sis around. She definitely enjoyed unwrapping gifts (we'll see if brother lets her after the cast comes off - Christmas will be our next test!)
Playing with our big boy toys - yea! No more girlie toys to play with!
Opening gifts with the little "helper."
A tractor just for me? Yippee!
Love my little man! (and special thanks to my dear friend, Dana, for using her talents to create Brax's first birthday baseball shirt!)
We had an extra-special time with our family and they did not disappoint on the gifts! Braxton was treated to tractors, Mega Blocks, cars, a Little Tykes coup car, clothes, and more. Thanks, family, for a wonderful day and great memories!
