It was more like a 20-month appointment, but we (finally) made it in to see our favorite doc and get Brax's 18-month stats (and a shot along the way).
Here they are:
Height: 34 inches (85th percentile)
Weight: 27 pounds, 14 oz (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19 inches (60th percentile)
Not much else, other than our boy is growing great along his growth curve and the doc is pleased with his progress. Even his lack of speech didn't draw a concern. Dr. Miller says it's ok - Brax understands, he reasons, he follows commands, and he makes other noises that count as words (such as animal noises!), as well as signs and communicates in his own way.
We're beyond thankful and praising God for our healthy, rambunctious little boy! I wish I would have captured a picture of him in the waiting room. His favorite thing to do - besides making mama continually get up and tell him the elevator buttons weren't a toy (for fear that he would actually jump in if the doors opened) - was to hop onto the table with his sly little grin. Seriously, he looked like Jack. (and I'm not just saying that because of the orneriness!). Instead, I had Brax take a pic of us - and.I.LOVE what he captured.....
