Back on Track

It's been one month since the Cleveland Marathon. A month of recovery, a month of running when I wanted and how far I wanted.

And while I have enjoyed the relaxed weeks of post-race, type-A me also enjoys following some type of a schedule or plan.

I spent some nights this week looking at various plans and creating a relaxed version for this summer as I take on a 10k next month and a half-marathon in September. I don't know if I will follow this plan to a T - hence the term "relaxed," but if I see my upcoming workouts and races on paper, it at least pushes me to do the longer weekend runs necessary to build endurance.

So it's back on the training track...however relaxed it may be.
