We've had some great weekends filled with all things fall lately. Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch for the annual Conkling cousins trip (more on that in a later post!).
This weekend, despite the weather reaching into the mid- to upper-80s, we're continuing our fall celebrations.
Jack spent some time after school yesterday carving the kiddos' pumpkins.
Mommy, meanwhile, used her talents to accessorize them both. Introducing "pumpkin girl" and "pirate pumpkin," thanks to the carving talents of Jack, the creative talents of the kids, and mommy going to Hobby Lobby.
This morning we packed up the kids and the BOB stroller for a fun outing at Hutch Rec's Trail & Treat 3K. My work had the pleasure of helping host this fun event this year - and I actually was able to break away for a bit to enjoy it with the kidlets and Jack! The kids broke out the costumes a week early for a trial run at the Halloween contest.
Then we hit the trails for a fun 3K run/walk, followed by pancakes.
